I think that back in the late nineties I went to the Carnegie once and the Stage a few times. My main memory is that those sandwiches are so ridiculously huge that they were unappetizing. I remember that at the Stage, I ate the Jay Leno sandwich and my dad ate the Bridget Fonda. I have no memory of what was on either sandwich. My mom tells me that she went to the Stage once and saw Erma Bombeck eating a few tables away. A waiter walked up to Erma with another patron in tow and said "Erma Bombeck, meet Erma Bomstein!" (Though I think I have that second surname wrong.) -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
