Fallon was actually better when he first started Tonight and was still in Late
Night mode. Now most of his guests get one couch segment, usually interrupted
by something that Jimmy does with his iPhone. The highlight of the iPhone
period of Tonight for me was a few weeks ago when Clint Eastwood came on the
show to plug "Sully". He had obviously skipped the pre-interview, because he's
Clint Eastwood. In the middle of the interview, Jimmy asked him "do you want to
see this game on my phone?"
Clint, showing no sign of being Ariana Grande, just said "No".

Cut to a shot of Jimmy, trying frantically to get his head to not explode.
