I am close to the first generation for the midnight shows (my mom would not let me go the first year they did it), and I did it sporadically throughout college and grad school. I don't know anyone from that cohort who were thinking of doing in home viewing parties last night. I did catch some wind of current college students talking about it on social media, but it seemed weak and I doubt much of that materialized. I was out last night, but recorded the baseball and football games, and did not even think about RHPS. If anyone here thinks it was remarkable I might try to find it on Hulu or ST,
I am more interested in, and distressed by, the falling ratings for The Good Place, which I continue to enjoy even while wishing it were a bit better. That number is not looking good however. Also, I realize how completely disengaged I am now from anything like a tv schedule. Outside of sporting events I am not sure I could name even the nights most of the shows I watch first run, much less the time. The main exception to that are shows that run on Sunday, which for some reason I am more likely to watch same day.
