And besides, AT&T's already been at it with the Audience Network on DirecTV (and after the DirecTV acquisition, on their UVerse systems). They're playing the same Peak TV game that other cable channels are playing while Netflix is trying to have it both ways with the "House of Cards"/"Orange"/"Stranger Things" types of shows on one side and Adam Sandler movies and the reboot of "Full House" on the other. I don't think anyone at Warners would've even dared pitching "Fuller House" to HBO.
