My rule is that I’ll follow any nonstandard capitalization and/or punctuation rules that a company wants to use for their name IF they’re using them on the paychecks that I’m regularly receiving. Hence, when I worked for Yahoo from 2006 to 2012, I was happy to write the company name as Yahoo!, with an exclamation point. (When I worked for them again from 2013 until this April, they’d changed the corporate communication guidelines and decided that the exclamation point should no longer be used in plain text.) So I don’t know why you’re giving them the courtesy of following their ridiculous lowercasing. -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
