In Pittsburgh, WQED added the Kids subchannel. (Before Kids launched, they
put the PBS feed on that subchannel, which was a welcome change from the
pledge programming on the main channel.)

There's always been the educational component, like Sesame Street and Mr.
Rogers. This may represent a deeper commitment to reasserting themselves in
that field.
