Yeah, the vibe is not as rock and roll as the band sounded on the show. FWIW,
Kevin, it sounds like you probably won't like Shaffer's Coast to Coast, which I
think sounds similar to what's been released from the new album. Coast to
Coast doesn't use the band as a cohesive unit, but as individual contributors
to various tracks, with one exception. But a selling point for me was the
nearly four minute version of the Late Night theme.
While you still have to scour the interwebs to find a CD copy of The World's
Most Dangerous Party, you can download it from Amazon and/or iTunes.

The kindest way I can put this is the songs available for preview, including
the Murray single, fail to capture the sound of the band as I remember them.
I wish they'd rerelease the Worlds Most Dangerous Party album from the 1990s,
omitting the spoken-word cameos that often got in the way of otherwise great
music.
