There will be less help Friday night 3/24.

AT&T's U-Verse division is in a carriage dispute with Raycom, owner of stations
in 23 southeastern markets.

UNC gets a CBS game Friday night and Raycom's WBTV in Charlotte is blacked out
on U-Verse.

Because it's AT&T and they're trying to rid themselves of legacy copper (on
which U-Verse runs), if a customer calls to complain, they're offered a switch
to DirecTV.

The print news was calling for a truce so that at least WBTV could show the
game in Charlotte. Neither side will budge.

This is also good news for Charter, which just rolled out its Spectrum brand in
the Carolinas, replacing the Time Warner Cable brand.
