Conceivably, after nine Emmy nominations (four as a producer and five as an 
actor), he could finally win an Emmy for hosting the Tonys; Neil Patrick 
Harris and Hugh Jackman have won Emmys that way.

BTW, Spacey was on with Jimmy Kimmel a year or two ago, and when Kimmel 
asked if he would like to host the Oscars someday, Spacey beamed and said 
he'd love to. Consider this his tryout.
