True, but the changes to the timeline have been few and mostly specific to the people we know. One of the ways time travel novels maintain a basic coherence to the timeline while their heroes stumble though it is to posit a basic premise - as Stephen King put it: "The past does not want to change". Connie Willis has a somewhat different mechanism with a similar function in her novels. These things make it meaningful for people to go back in the past while still having a present to return to, and also a reason why whatever the protagonists are doing back there does not immediately become less important than killing Hitler or whatever. Timeless' approach is simply to not worry about things like this, except when it is convenient for thier plot.
No time travel story can be completely logically consistent, but I do like to see them try to set up some rules for their universe and then stick to them.
