Something not exactly kosher happened to one of my thumb drives last night
(25), and the drive (a 64GB PNY, at least half-full) acted as if it had
been erased when I tried to access it this morning.

I've been procedurally making a listing of folders/files on each of the
drives I use in a Windows batch, either when they are inserted at startup
or at final shutdown at night, and up until then I'd been simply removing
any drives at shutdown (not clicking the systray icon)

I'd like to find something free or open-source that can recover
everything... what's commercially available for free is only limited to a
few gigs... a lot of crucial stuff's on there, and

B
