These sorts of "protests" (publicity stunts) are stupid. The free market
dictates the level of offense, as it did with Kathy Griffin. Offended
people bought tickets to the show with the intent of disrupting it... that
is the opposite of how the free market works; they paid for something they
knew they wouldn't like. There is no fiscal logic in that. I'm not going to
see a Ted Nugent concert, nor am I going to hear Bill Maher's stand up; my
money will be spent elsewhere.
