Patti Deutsch, an attractive redhead with a great deadpan, was a member of the Ace Trucking Company troupe with Fred Willard (and Bill "Ya Doesn't Have to Come Me Johnson" Saluga) and in a journeywoman career steadily did a lot of guest shots, commercials, cartoon voices, etc., but was probably best known for her appearances in the sixth slot on the panel on "Match Game," alternating with Betty White, Fannie Flagg, Joyce Builfant and/or Mary Wickes and coming up with a lot of offbeat responses, expertly utilizing her deadpan (which sometimes included a vacant stare to the audience)--she died Wednesday after a long battle with cancer:
