The current plan is for the first half of the season to air starting September 25 (the day after the first two hours air on CBS broadcast), through sometime in November, with the back half starting in January. Plan your binging accordingly.
The promotion for this show has been an annoying mix of very small bits of information hyped beyond reason. And, seriously, the last season of Deep Space Nine was an arc about war and its aftermath, so the Discovery promotional team is just not paying attention.
