Gregory was indeed a pioneer in bringing black comedic voices out in the open for all to hear. Much like Jerry Lewis, his later years his mind might not have been what it once was, as he became wrapped up in the cult of Alex Jones conspiracy theories. I choose to remember the man who kept pushing to be recognized during the 60s and 70s.
