The American version of the series was edited down to a half-hour and had a laugh track added (and canned applause over the credits, which were redone to remove any Canadian references). I had thought that Vincent Price was inserted into the show by the American syndicators and was surprised to read that he was a part of the series from the get-go. It is of its time and place and is probably most enjoyed chemically-enhanced (as, I would expect, Van's other well-known homegrown show "Party Game," although there are no complete episodes on YouTube to get a full idea of the show).
