Maybe not. The Consumerist asked DirecTV  and AT&T for confirmation and did
not get a reply. DirecTV has held a hard line against letting people out of
Sunday Ticket agreements as many people would be happy to get refunds as
soon as their favorite teams get eliminated from playoff contention. The
Consumerist speculates that a few customer retention reps might have
allowed refunds in order to keep some people from leaving DirecTV
altogether.
