I assume everybody here know that legacy TV writer Ken Levine has a blog. Lately he has also been doing a weekly podcast. The episodes tend to be uneven and split between solo storytelling and guest conversations. The last two weeks have been with David Goodman, the president of WGA West. The first part, not linked here, is about Goodman's writing career, which includes Futurama, Star Trek: Enterprise, Family Guy, and The Orville. The second part is about the issues the WGA deals with in the current media environment. As the number of TV shows and platforms has exploded I never thought about the effect on the writers.
