The hardcore fans of "Great...Bakeoff/Baking Show" who watch the original on PBS never warmed to Iuzzini and were more unhappy when Paul Hollywood replaced Mary Berry this season (Berry quit the franchise when it moved to Channel 4 in the UK, stating that the show should've stayed on the BBC--she's now doing cooking shows for the Beeb and I believe will be hosting and judging a new competition series). Add the fact that the first week didn't get good numbers and ABC probably did the right thing.
