Chrome is a bigger memory-hog than anything else I've stumbled upon, so
much so that I tend to keep it closed unless I need it... I used to keep it
up and running with Facebook and Gmail and Twitter windows, but after an
hour or two I couldn't even watch a TV show on iTunes without massive
lagtime.
