After years and years of stories about how unreal reality TV is in order to
produce and sustain ratings, this story makes perfect sense. People with
these problems not only have to go in front of the bright lights and
cameras to describe their problems, they have to put on a performance in
order to earn Dr Phil's attention and the substances help juice those
performances.
