The only accomplished musician in The Beatles was George Harrison. The
stories about Ringo's ineptitude are well known. So it's not really
surprising someone would question Paul's talents as a musician. He and John
were great songwriters, though. Of course, George Martin helped. I was
surprised to hear the comments about Michael Jackson. If he was a thief why
did Quincy work with him? Jones lost a lawsuit against the Jackson estate
and lost.
I didn't know Richard Pryor was bisexual. I listened to a couple of his
comedy specials last year and if I recall correctly, he uses slurs to refer
to gays. Maybe I'm confusing him with Eddie Murphy. As I recall, Pryor did
it casually while Murphy put some zing into his gay slurs. I'll have to
listen to them again.
He was a long-time friend of Bill Cosby. He wouldn't say anything about
him. I wonder if he knew about the abuse but is keeping silent to avoid
lawsuits.
I thought Presley had a pretty good voice. . .
