On Ken Levine's podcast he talks to Phoef (given name Robert) Sutton. Sutton was a writer on Cheers and became a showrunner in its later years. He went from sitcoms to dramas and then movies. As he goes over his writing career in this episode he talks about what went wrong in some of his can't-miss projects, notably the American version of Coupling and the De Niro movie The Fan. It's an enjoyable conversation and it gives a lot of insight to the creative side of the entertainment industry from 1980 to the start of the streaming era.
