The relatively large turnover on this show is down to two reasons: - Unlike US productions, UK shows don't have those massive 5-7 year commitments in their original contracts.
- The series is shot in Guadeloupe and takes upwards of six months at a time to shoot. That sounds fantastic, but I think it can be quite tough on the cast being away from home for so long. That all said, I can't think that there's a better guest spot on TV. They get to spend two weeks on a Caribbean island shooting their episode, and if they're lucky, it won't be a massive number of scenes - especially if they get to be the murder victim of the week!
