I knew a few people involved with the special. They all had stories about that show, which are not mine to share. There are times when all the creative forces come together and the stars align to make something memorable. I understand those who dislike Elvis, but it would be hard to not recognize how... well... special that special really was. Elvis owned that room, and a bit of TV and musical history was made.
