1. According to AdAge, IHOP has had them on the menu since 1958.

2.  I remember when a similar publicity stunt resulted in the town of 
Altoona, PA to officially change the name of the town to "POM Wonderful" 
for 30 days. (actually "POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever 
Sold") to promote some film by Morgan Spurlock.

3. There have been comments that the "ob" in Ihob" looks remarkably like 
the "o.b." tampon lettering.
