Sunday the US President took time to issue an official condemnation of one of the nations most serious threats: Jimmy Fallon (Finally a Trump project I can get behind, and that will unite a badly divided country).
Does anyone know if Fallon referenced this in his Monday show? Colbert did not (at least not in first three Acts), which surprised me a little because it seems to tee up a few jokes for him. I thought maybe Colbert wanted to let Fallon take first shot - or maybe they agreed (colluded?) to ignore it? Also, isn’t this kind of a time warp? This was a story more than a year ago when Colbert first surged in the ratings. Did Fallon say something about it recently? I was a little obsessed with the story of the kidnapping and holding for extortion by the American government of children of people at the end of a dangerous thousands of miles trek seeking asylum from barbaric murderers in the US, so I might have missed it. “@jimmyfallon is now whimpering to all that he did the famous “hair show” with me (where he seriously messed up my hair), & that he would have now done it differently because it is said to have “humanized” me-he is taking heat. He called & said “monster ratings.” Be a man Jimmy!” https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1011036519812030467?s=21 -- Sent from Gmail Mobile -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
