I found the writing on McHale's show to be pretty cheap but sometimes
satisfyingly out there.  It was basically The Soup 1.5  I liked it,
but it took me a while to find time to watch the second half.  In a
way, it reminded me of "With Bob and David" which also tried to bring
back an old show by doing more of the same, but ended up not being
very memorable.  It certainly didn't look like it cost much to make.
