I like Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph in general, but their “expert” sketches
are a major waste of time.

I thought the “in memoriam” segment was very well done, although including
“John McCain, politician” seemed a bit incongruous.

The proposal went on long enough that if Glenn Weiss had been directing, he
would have had the orchestra play himself off. So kudos to the Emmys for
recognizing the moment and allowing it to play out.
