I'm pretty much on the same page as Kevin (I just finished watching the Sunday
night replay on CBS).  Not as jokey as the 5-0 reboot (but it doesn't take
itself too seriously), and slightly less suspension of disbelief required than
the MacGyver reboot.
That said, I'm not likely to seek it out, but would probably stay on it if I
had nothing better to do/watch.   I could be proven wrong, but I don't see the
actors playing Magnum and Higgins recapturing the Odd Couple-like magic Selleck
and Hillerman managed.

I know what you're thinking, but not as bad as I expected. However, it only
took them ten minutes to show Higgins in tight pants and a sports bra. If you
want to seem enlightened when casting a woman in what was originally a male
role, maybe don't rush to sexualize her? The female Higgins works in the
context they laid out in the pilot episode, but the gratuitous body shot was a
d*ck move by what I assume is a mostly male production and writing team.
