As Apatow wrote ( I was watching the game and monitoring Twitter and saw his note in real time) - what NBC stiohas not explained is why they accepted the ad in first place. The “further review” statement is meaningless, as CNN had already rejected the ad, to Trumpian displeasure, so NBC can not pretend it did not already know the issues.
