I have not watched much of Graham Yost content, but I do recall his father, Elwy Yost running movies on TVOntario (think PBS) on Saturday nights. I think it was called Saturday Night at the Movies.
He would intro saying why this classic movie was great, then wrap up after the movie, with an intro to the second feature of the night. Early 1980s if my memory is correct.
