I think you're stereotyping, although it's still odd that CBB is played for personal cash rather than cash for a charity, so there's that. I guess when you've fallen far enough (or, in the case of the Olympic athletes, need the funding badly enough), your dignity takes a back seat.
Thing is, the person I expected to like the least - Kato - came across as genuinely likable (if not a little cornball). Natalie Eva Marie, apart from having too many first names, was also surprisingly likable considering what I knew of her from WWE.
