Warners buying NBC Burbank makes sense; it is basically across the street
from their main studio. In my life of fantasy and make-believe, Warner Bros
will use the facility as a home base to launch a broadcast network newscast
on the CW. They won’t, of course, nor will they memorialize Studio One and
preserve it for posterity.

Meanwhile, the land on Warner Ranch must be worth a small fortune. I’m
unclear why WB wouldn’t repurpose or build on that instead of sell it off,
unless they find themselves cash-poor.
