I don't think Rick Perry went out and lied his ass off repeatedly to
members of the media for an extended period of time, only to suddenly ask
like we should all be bestest buddies. Further, when Perry appeared, he was
merely a former Texas governor as opposed to a member of one of the two or
three worst presidencies of all time.
