I think that's a criticism of the current TV model more than just
Stumptown. There's just no time to introduce characters in a way that makes
them stick in a network pilot. I still intend writing a critique of
Sunnyside and my main problem with it was, that with just 20 minutes to
tell the story in the pilot, everything was rushed and nothing stuck.
