Doug Fields, to moi, today: > > After reading both of the linked articles, I'm at a loss to figure out > where your impression is coming from that Rudd is "embarrassed" by Tom > Brady's cameo. If anything, he sounds very satisfied and happy that they > were able to get Brady to participate, in all of the interviews I've seen > him give on the subject. > > You could've said that Brady himself isn't happy that others are > mistakenly assuming that the scene is a dig at Patriots owner Robert Kraft, > but even if you had, I'd probably question whether "embarrassed" would be > the correct way to characterize it. > > I seem to think Rudd's keeping a low profile, given the show has just been released, which can explain the embarrassment. The interviews were done at least last winter around when the scene was filmed, if not before any filming began. Brady, OTOH, if you believe enough of the passive-commenting-about-celebs sites, is bugged, but as I said, there are critics who don't give a (bleep).
