Dan Harmon has ended his podcast after seven years. It had its ups and
downs. The main negative, and what made me stop being a regular listener a
while back, were a lot of deeply racist comments made by guests on the
show, mostly from some of Harmon’s friends who seemed inexperienced at
speaking into a microphone, as well as the ramifications of saying stupid
things into a microphone.

Memorable highlights include semi-regular Greg Proops playing a talking
unicorn named Tylenol With Codeine during their Dungeons & Dragons
campaign, and “comptroller” Jeff Bryan Davis ability to resurrect any badly
improvised segment with the perfect one-liner.

But for me, the podcast was most noteworthy when they took it on tour
across the country, and listeners and live audience members witnessed the
complete collapse of the relationship between Dan and Erin. I’m still
amazed they chose to release episodes where the two just stood on stage and
fought. It was more real than any reality TV show.

Listening to the last episode now. If you’ve never listened, it’s probably
not worth checking it out now. But otherwise it’s funny and entertaining.
