Usually the celebrity deaths in threes is more broad in terms of celebrity
status, but with Auberjonois, D.C. Fontana, and Robert Walker, Jr. all passing
in the last week (and all around 79-80 years of age), this current group of 3
all have some Star Trek connection.
This also comes not long after the September passing of Aron Eisenberg, who
played Nog in Deep Space Nine.
