Much like the last 'week' of squeeze, the show didn't do it this past Friday,
but did it again for Monday's show. Maybe it will pick up again on Wednesday.
On an unrelated Late Show topic, Maddie has sat in with the band both nights
this week.

Is it possible this is some kind of way to extract additional ad dollars from
advertisers? Or is this a variation on 'make goods' for programs that don't
deliver on expected viewership? Either explanation to me seems off, but I
don't work in this area.
