I didn’t realize they don’t pay until after the episodes show; I would have assumed they gave you a check on your way out the door. Is that to enforce your silence until air time?
We have talked a bit before about how Alex can be a bit of a dick at times, but he clearly liked you. Why not, you were likable, but I think in particular you had the talent of being comfortable and verbal, without threatening his control or the time limits of any interaction. I imagine Alex really doesn’t like contestants who are either so nervous they hardly talk, or so loquacious they take over. Do you think your job helped prepare you to comfortably occupy the short windows for talking on television, or is that just your personality (I suspect I would be weirdly and obnoxiously both too cryptically nervous and too controllingly Over-talking). Congratulations again on a very successful, entertaining and engaging run. Your three games explored almost the full range of the Jeopardy experience, as Alex kind of foreshadowed in his introduction last night.
