I'm obviously not the only who initially mistook Richard Herd for Karl Malden (they had similar faces), something noted in this THR piece... he got to be well-known in sci-fi circles, through several shots in the "Trek" universe and as the commander of "V"'s aliens... but before that he played one of the Watergate burglars in *All The President's Men*, among others... Tuesday in L.A.; 87.
