The other point I’d add is that Twitter isn’t a chronicle of events from
the days of Martin Luther King Jr or even the Nixon or Reagan eras. It’s
not as if sexism or racism were only recently deemed inappropriate (insert
sad Trump commentary here). I’m not one to use the slang definition of
“woke,” but any adult who wasn’t “woke” to this sort of stuff in the last
decade is frankly going out of his or her way to stay asleep.

I’ve said and written a lot of things I regret... some of it here in this
group. But I don’t post anything on the internet unless I’m prepared to
have it exist for the next millennium.
