NBC is trying to hype subscriptions to Peacock by putting the last (2?) hours of the US Open there (maybe this is only around 1 & 2.).
I hate the Peacock App (almost impossible to avoid commercials) especially when accessing through my Xfinity cable box (very slow, very clunky). But I did want to make sure I could watch the end of Tiger Woods round 2 (maybe also the final round) when he will start in the afternoon. This motivated me to side load the Peacock App on my Amazon Fire Stick, in part hoping for a better interface. I forget now who, but someone here was interested in how I did this for HBOMax, so posting link below with directions I followed for Peacock, which was easy and successful. And the interface is better than going through Xfinity, so I will be watching Colombo and (inferior) Law and Order reruns on the Stick. https://www.techhive.com/article/3566879/how-to-get-peacock-on-your-fire-tv.html -- Sent from Gmail Mobile -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
