I’m willing to entertain those still of the opinion that the debates are useful for undecided voters, or that they help raise awareness of issues or policy ideas. But I endured the entire debate tonight, so I’ve got to tell you, if you’re going to defend debates after tonight, you’d better come loaded for bear. Because whatever that goatf*ck was, it served no purpose; it wasn’t even good theater.
