I had the opposite situation when dear alma mater (WVU) switched from the Big East to the Midwest-centric Big 12 eight years ago: After years of being used to noon and 3:30 starts (for TV purposes), my visit to Lubbock forced me to adjust to a 2:30 kickoff instead.
