I can't take Richard Quest seriously, because I only knew him from two
years of New Years Eve specials where he does segments from Olive Garden in
Times Square, often in a costume.

I'm sure if people knew him from the financial reporting FIRST, then the
NYE stint is a "oh... look at Richard being out of character and loosening
up".    But not me.
