Bell's replacements will be Comedy radio for Winnipeg and Vancouver.
Hamilton already has Comedy radio, which brings in better numbers than
the once-mighty CKOC as TSN 1150.
The only local content on TSN 1150 in Hamilton was CFL games for the
Tiger Cats. Everything else is on the Bell and Rogers sport stations in
Toronto.
The rumors of CKOC switching to BNN have been swirling for more than a
year. That said, I can't imagine a direct simulcast of BNN - Canada's
Bloomberg branded business TV network - will make any difference.
Eventually they'll throw up their hands and say "we tried" before
powering off the (almost) 100-year old station.
