The seemingly prissy evangelist and faith healer gained a national 
following for his weekly television series, was satirized by comics and 
radio DJs, including Robin Williams and Chicago's Steve Dahl, bought out 
Rex Humbard's "Cathedral of Tomorrow" facility in Cuyahoga Falls, O. to 
house his empire, which would include commercial TV station WBNX for the 
Akron-Cleveland market (it was a WB and CW affiliate and is now a pure 
indie station, with some of the shows it carries ones you would expect Rev. 
Angley not to approve of)--yes, he was accused of sexually abusing a male 
associate at his church:
