No disrespect to West Virginia, but WVU needs the ACC a lot more than the
ACC needs WVU.

The last round of conference realignments was all about bringing in TV
markets. Texas probably brings in enough viewers to make them attractive to
the SEC, even if the conference has to take Oklahoma as part of the deal.

But, while WVU's teams would fit solidly into the ACC, I doubt that the
conference is especially anxious to give the university millions to get the
ACC Network onto systems in West Virginia.

I hope that WVU finds a good place to land; we'll see how it plays out.
